The biggest question is how will Tom Brady do returning from knee surgery, which resulted in him missing the entire 08 season. The answer is simple, he'll be fine!
Missing a whole season with a knee injury can cause some concern, but this is Tom Brady we're talking about. It's not like he's coming back to a horrible team or a new one. He has Randy Moss, Wes Welker, Bill Bellichick, a great offensive line, and not to mention newly acquired Fred Taylor & Joey Galloway.
What more can you ask for?
If that doesn't tell you anything, how about Brady's play in this post-season. When was the last time you saw a former MVP want to play in the post-season as bad as Brady?
Brady knew he was fine and ready for this season, he just had to put the rest of the league on notice that he's back.
The Patriots haven't won a Superbowl since 04, and I think this year their poised to end that drought. The AFC is a better conference but I doubt most of the teams who had success last year will have the same this year.
The Dolphins were a surprise team last year, and they barely got into the playoffs. Chad Pennington isn't going to have another good season like last, because he's not use to performing well or being on a winning team. The Titans are another team who shocked a lot of people, taking the #1 seed in the AFC. Kerry Collins isn't a QB who you look to, when trying to repeat as division champs that's why they wont make it.
That's already two teams who are out of the playoff picture, which will easily help lead the Patriots into one of those positions. Look for the Pats to come back strong and bring the Lombardi trophy back to Foxborough.
