Peaking At The Right Time!

With the NBA season right on our heels, I just had to get back to letting everyone know that the Lakers are still the team to beat.

I don't want to hear how good the Cavs, Magic, Celtics, Spurs, or even Mavs have gotten over the off season, because the Lakers beat all of them last year so it doesn't matter. I will admit that all of those teams did make some nice moves to ensure a better season, but the Lakers made better moves.

Not only did they acquire Ron Artest, but they brought back Lamar Odom and Shannon Brown.

If that's not enough most of the competition is in the East, so Kobe and company wont have much to worry about. And speaking of that guy, let's not forget Kobe is only 30 and still is one of the best players in the league. His stats decreased last year, but that didn't matter because he didn't need to put up outrageous numbers for LA to win.

I know we all wanted to see that dream match up of Kobe vs LeBron last year in the finals, but we can only blame one person for it not happening. The "King" himself.

Don't worry, with Shaq now on LeBron's side we will definitely get what we've all been waiting for. The great thing about it is, it'll be the same result like last year when Kobe and LeBron met.

I can understand if you're a Cavs fan because you guys are so hung up on LeBron, and believe he's going to lead you guys to great things. However, if you're not then it makes no sense to discriminate the Lakers. They are deadly, and the addition of Artest makes them unstoppable even with all of the Artest doubters.

Even with all that being said, I know you guys still are going to talk horrible about the Lakers but another championship will definitely shut you up.
