I'm always rooting for the USC Trojans but this year might be a rebuilding year for them, and this year has been taking over by Tim Tebow, Sam Bradford, and McCoy. Each QB played excellent and lead their teams to successful seasons last year, and if that isn't enough they were the only 3 college players invited to New York for the Heisman Memorial Trophy presentation in which Bradford won.
This year is no different, and why should it be.
Everyone is going crazy over Tebow, which is justified because he is insanely talented and has undoubtedly one of the best defenses in the nation. However, McCoy is the best QB in the nation and I have to put everyone on notice of this kid. This year, defenses should be horrified when they see him on the opposite end of the field.
McCoy and the Longhorns were robbed of a Big-12 Championship and a birth in the National Championship Game, which would've been against the Florida Gators who are now champions.
But don't listen to me, just go look for yourself. He is the best pure passer in the nation, and his versatility dominates a game. No defense was able to shut him down, and if it wasn't for a very lucky catch by Michael Crabtree, McCoy would be the reigning Heisman winner.
I haven't forgotten about Bradford for all those OU heads, but the fact remains that the Heisman voters don't like picking the same person the following year. That's exactly why I don't think Tebow will win, because he's a former Heisman winner as well. And on that note, you guys are making it seem like Tebow will have one of the best years in history and be the best college QB of all-time, when he probably won't even have that great of year.
You guys need to start watching some Colt McCoy videos, you're going to be seeing a lot of him this year and in the future.
See you in New York Colt!
