Nadal, Serena Ending Year Off Right!

The US Open started yesterday and even though I didn't watch most fo the match ups, I already know that Rafael Nadal and Serena Williams will come out on top.

First off, I know Nadal has missed some time because of the knee but let's not forget when he was in action he was dominating. I know the great Roger Federer is on a hot streak but the last time I checked, Nadal has beat Federer in the last two majors that played each other in. And don't be surprised when these two meet this year in the Open final, which Nadal will ultimately take.

Now I know Nadal will have some stiff competition on his end, but it's nothing new to him. All you Andy Murray fans, get over yourself. The guy is a crowd favorite and that's about it, I don't see much coming out of him. He only became the #2 ranked player in the world because Nadal has missed the last two majors due to injury. In his absence, Murray didn't make a final appearance in either the French Open or at Wimbledon, so what does that tell you.

Nadal is back and that means the rest of the field should just sit back and enjoy his greatness. He will definitely reclaim the world's #1 ranking sooner than you all think.

Isn't this a great way to end the year, after it being so horrible.
On the other hand, the women's bracket once again looks like another easy road for Serena to capture the Grand Slam.

It'll probably be her and big sis Venus in the final, which we are all a custom to seeing. And with that being said, Venus is the only player in Serena's way of capturing her 12th Grand slam title. However, Venus is getting a bit old and by the horrible loss she took at Wimbledon we will start to see a decline.

And if that isn't enough, just think about it. Who can possibly compete with Serena?

She's won two of the three majors this year, and you think she's happy with just that. And what's sad is that they still have her ranked #2 in the world, which is giving her all the fuel to continuously dominating everyone in her path. And the funny thing is that the #1 ranked player in the world Dinara Safina think she's actually good. This girl is one of the worst #1 players ever, and people have the nerve to like her. Come on now, let's be real!

When Nadal and Serena are hoisting their trophies, you know where to find me and say "You were right."
