- Who will have a more productive year: Brett Favre or Michael Vick?
Both of these guys will be good this year, but you have to give it to the "oldie" Brett. He is the starter and that isn't going to change, unless he get injured. On the other hand, Vick still has to be reinstated back into the NFL, and if so it wont be until week 6. Even if Vick plays what can he contribute? He's on McNabb's team, hence I said McNabb because you aren't going to over throw McNabb from the starter position. And if that isn't enough Favre has the better team overall. All he has to do is hand the ball off the AP, and maybe throw about 20 passes a game. The Vikings are young, and ready to be at the top of the NFL while the Eagles are already set with team they have now. Now if you ask me this same question next year I'll definitely have to go with Vick, but for now Favre has got it.
- Can the Steelers repeat?
I doubt the Steelers will repeat as Super Bowl champions. Don't get me wrong this is a very good team, and they have a shot but with so many teams improving over the last year, it will be a hard feat. Just look at the AFC, your going to have to go through the Patriots, Chargers, Colts, Titans, and your division rival Ravens. Now I know what your going to say, they had the hardest schedule last year and still won the Super Bowl. But the teams that were suppose to be good last year weren't, so that made it much easier. Now if these Steelers can pull it off and make it back to the Super Bowl then you got me, but let's not forget about the NFC now with the Eagles, Cowboys, Giants, Cardinals, Falcons, Vikings, and Saints all improving. Remember, it took the Steelers a last minute drive to beat the Cardinals, so it wasn't that easy. Good Luck Though!!
- Will Tom Brady perform well enough to lead the Pats back to the post-season?
Of course, this is an easy answer. Do you really think Brady is going to let his knee stop him from playing in another season. NO! And the more you guys doubt his ability to play this year makes him want to get out there even more now. Do you really want to have to play defense on this guy, knowing he's ready to light you up. And I haven't even mentioned all the weapons he's coming back to. If you thought the Pats were dominate two years when they went undefeated, just imagine how immortal they'll be this year (at least on the offensive end). I see no signs of Brady having a bad year, unless he gets injured again but if he's up and throwing then the NFL has got their MVP back.
- Who is the team everyone should be looking out for?
This could be any team in the NFL, because you never know what can happen. However, the Atlanta Falcons will definitely be causing many teams problems. I know last year they snuck up on all of us, but this year it wont be a surprise. I really don't think Matt Ryan is as good as you all make him to be, but his surrounding cast is easily the best in the league. Adding Tony Gonzalez was the best move they could have made to ensure Ryan doesn't have a sophomore slump. I'm not saying their going to be this years Arizona, but they definitely will make a deep playoff run. DON'T BE SURPRISED!!
- Who will hoist the Lombardi trophy at years end?
The will easily be the one of the best years the NFL has seen collectively, all the more reason this question is a bit hard to answer. I said "a bit" because while it's a tough choice I know that the Patriots will be on top. And I'm not only picking them because of Brady's return, their team is locked and loaded. Not only have they added Fred Taylor and Joey Galloway to an already potent offense but their defense will finally be healthy enough to get back to dominance. I see no shades of them missing the playoffs again, it's highly doubtful with their coaching staff.
