No. 7, yeah I know the ranking doesn't help you believe me but their play this year should make up for that. The have one measly loss and that was against the Washington Huskies on a game winning field goal. What makes it worse is the fact that they loss that game in week 3, and won every other since and no one is talking about them.
I don't understand how computers have the right to place teams in different positions and rankings. The actualt voters themselves screw things up, so your going to leave it up to a couple of computers. It makes no absolutely no sense to me!!
USC has been the only program to have had success consistently, and I'm a bit shocked and disappointed that they aren't being recognized for it.
As for this year, it's just the same as always. The Trojans lose an early game to a Pac-10 opponent, but win every game after. And I really don't see any other way of their season ending this year because their upcoming schedule is pretty easy and just cause their USC.
Now I don't know if the Trojans will be able to sneak into the National Championship picture, but you definitely can't sleep on them. Just look at the teams in front of them, none of which are the likes of Southern Cal. You have Boise State (#4), Cincinnati (#5), and Iowa (#6). Seriously, I don't even know one player on these teams combined. Boise and Cinci have had very light schedules, so I don't take them anywhere near serious. As far Iowa, they can get a little credit because the beat Penn State and Michigan, but they don't belong in front of USC.
WE ALL KNOW THAT!!
I think the college football world is just tired of hearing and seeing USC on top, and that makes no sense because if it wasn't for USC I wouldn't even be a college football fan. Everyone always looks for a new team to root for or a cinderella story, and they haven't had that yet.
But let me be the first to tell you, this Trojan team is nothing to be forgotten about. Their scary good, and they haven't even reached their highest potential.
But I've got some good news for all my fellow Trojan-eers, we will definitely be playing in a January bowl game. It'll probably be the Rose Bowl, since the voters are in love with Tim Tebow, and can't leave Texas out of the big game for a 2nd straight year.
Oh, but if we do make it to that Jan. 7th game, I guarantee another banner will be brought down in the good ol' Coliseum.
Nahh man I think the real teams to watch out for are the Boise St. Broncos and the TCU Horned Frogs...very underrated teams with more than enought talent to match any team in the nation
